BUTTERFLY FRIDGIE











Black and yellow worsted weight yarn
Crochet hook size F

Body with black yarn
Ch 11. sc in 2nd ch from hook and next 8 chs.In last ch do (sl st,sc,3dc,sc,slst). END OFF.

Wings (yellow yarn)

ROW 1: Sk 2 sc from last slst on head, ch 1, sc in next sc. Sc in next 5 sc. Ch 1, turn. (6sc)
ROW 2: 2 sc in 1st sc, sc in next 4 sc, 2 sc in last sc. Ch 1, turn. (8 sc)
ROW 3: 2 sc in 1st sc, sc in next 6 sc, 2 sc in last sc. Ch 1, turn. (10 sc) END OFF.

Flip over do row 1-3 for other wing. END OFF.

With black yarn (trim around wing)

Looking at front side of butterfly do a sc in 1st sc (ch 3, sc in next sc across) to end on each wing.

Hide ends.
Put small eyes on or use fabric paint.
Tie a piece of black yarn on head for antenna.

Carrot Fridgie












Scraps of orange and green worsted weight yarn
Crochet hook size F

Starting at bottom with orange leave a long tail for roots
Ch 2
Row 1: 1 sc in second ch from hook. Ch 1, turn.
Row 2: 2 sc in first sc. Ch 1, turn.
Row 3: 2 sc in first sc, 2 sc in next sc. (4 sc) Ch 1, turn.
Row 4: Sc in each sc. (4 sc) Ch 1, turn
Row 5: 2 sc in first sc, sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in last sc. (6 sc) Ch 1, turn.
Row 6: Sc in each sc. (6 sc) Ch 1, turn.
Row 7: Dec sc in first 2 sc, sc in next 2 sc, dec sc in last 2 sc. (4 sc) Ch 1, turn.
Row 8: Dec sc in first 2 sc, dec sc in next 2 sc. End off.

Seperate the orange tail of yarn for the roots .
Carrot tops (use green)
Cut 2 strands of yarn.Take one piece and fold in half and loop thru in first
sc using your hook and repeat for next sc.
